Cuzins Kamp PART 1

#3 comin' at ya!!

As you know....
we were all off to CUZINS KAMP 2014 last week!
This was the 16th year.
Here is part #1 of our report!

In the beginning it used to just be our children that would go to our parents house and spend a few treasured days...those years have proved to be absolutely ESSENTIAL in the growth and development of our children. We will forever be indebted to our parents for starting this tradition...for the blessings it has brought and continues to bring to all our lives.
The things our children have learned and the character built in them during Cuzins Kamp can never be undone....can never be replaced... it can never be removed from their personal foundations.
Even if they forget who they are sometimes...the things they've learned at Kamp are always inside them and will help them find their way. I have no doubt of this.

As the years went by and the kids multiplied like rabbits....we opted to continue the tradition to include our full family.
This is something we look forward to ALL YEAR LONG....we move mountains so we can all be there at the same time...TOGETHER....and it works because we CHOOSE IT. We wouldn't miss it for anything. The feelings felt... the lessons learned... the tears shed.... the experiences shared... the memories made.... the grandpa visits... the laughing... the eating... the playing.... the creating... the blessings.... the giggling... the farting.... and peeing of pants.....
all with people you love more than anything.
There is just nothing better.

This year was no different... it was amazing.... we didn't want it to be over... and we all long to be back again next year.
Our parents plan Kamp each year.. every single detail... including the theme.... its a secret to everyone and that makes it even funner!

This years Kamp Theme was
WALKING EACH OTHER HOME

It means exactly as it sounds.... side by side... through the journey... no one left behind..... together safe and sound.... hand in hand....
Can you feel it???? Don't you LOVE IT!!

Here come the pictures.....
Our mother has been having some health issues...and it wasn't easy for her to come to Kamp this year.... these pictures show some of her grand-kids surrounding her when she made the journey and ARRIVED!! They love her...she cried. I think everyone else did too.....

Next was getting Kamp all set up! Lots of fun stuff going on!! and such a beautiful area! We just love it there.....
